The theme of the Melbourne Writers Festival was When We Talk About Love and the client encouraged a dark disco vibe.

The outcome was an art directed and photographed glitter heart (shot in-studio) for the core identity for the 2019 festival. We paired this with disco type and metallic highlights across a printed program, festival signage, digital content and merchandise.
